On Buddhism (Part 2): The False Teaching of Kamma.

 In our recent excursus on Buddhism , we uncovered the three points on which Buddhism and Christianity fundamentally diverge. Now we'll turn our attention to another false teaching: the doctrine of Kamma . Kamma is the root word for action (from Pali), and its name reflects the fact that choices have metaphysical consequences, affecting the world you're going to inhabit. It is closely related to its false teaching of rebirth because kamma is self-limiting: eventually your bad kamma gets burned up and it's time for you to get reborn. Good kamma gets burned up too and beings enjoying Heaven have to get reborn into a lesser realm. It's all hooey. You're not going to get a second chance. And choices are not self-limiting like that. The refusal to use your free will choice to accept Jesus as your personal savior (by dying in a state of mortal sin) has consequences that last for all eternity. How much bad kamma  is that? Rivals to Christianity: Buddhism

There was a famous manga called Saint Young Men  that had Jesus Christ and the Buddha living as roommates in an apartment in Tokyo. It is a very popular misconception that Buddhism is a cousin faith to Christianity, but the truth is... it very much resembles the warning Our Lord taught about the house built on sand. (Matthew 7:24-27) Buddhism, first of all, doesn't believe in a creator. In fact, belief in an eternal, immutable creator is considered one of the 62 wrong views to hold, seeing that the Buddhist universe is always chaotic and in flux. Second, Buddhism believes that there's no eternal hell. This follows from the belief that there's no eternal, immutable creator. By cause and effect, a person can be reborn in Hell... but it is temporary. Seeing that Christianity believes in an eternal, immutable creator, it is possible for an unbeliever to be sent to Hell forever, because that person's suffering is relative to someone eternal and immutable, which cannot happen...
